Why Early Recovery is relevant to ACAPS
Our analysis and expertise improves understanding of humanitarian needs in crisis, which informs priorities in early recovery. Our in-crisis assessment support and analysis to governments and humanitarian partners, enable the identification of gaps in response. Long-term, we foster sustainable in-country needs assessment capacity and preparedness. In Bangladesh, for example, national coordination mechanisms have embedded our assessment approach in their response planning processes.
